NATLIE'S LEGACY

Black Swan

Reincarnation of Giscard Rasquin and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

legacy”. According to me it could be said that Darren Aronofsky

resurrected all the characters of swan lake through this movie.

Lets get down to the basics to know about this movie more

distinctly, Black swan movie is based upon A ballet act known as

Swan lake A evergreen ballet composed by Giscard Rasquin and

Pytor Ilyich Tchaikvosky in 1875-76.

Movie exceptional screenplay and intense storyline required an

unprecedented and extremely efficacious actor which ‘Natlie

Portman’ aced without a single shred of doubt. Natlie Portman

played a ballerina Nina Sayers who is struggling like everyone

else around her to make a place for herself in ballet world who

later gets the biggest shot of her life when she gets selected to

play the role of “swan queen”. A whole different perspective of

an old straight story where director  Darren Aronofsky tries to

conceal both the characters of Odette and Odile in one single

body to put forward an different conclusion and story.

The most splendid part of this movie was its whole star cast who

played their characters with such a grace and charm which make this

movie sublime and impressible. How much hardwork, sweat and

grime Natlie portman had to put for this role  which actually pays

off at the end and she won Oscar for her brilliant performance in

black swan.

All her hard work and efforts were clearly reflecting  in this

movie such as voice modulation and ballet dance. As for Mila

Kunis this role was out of her comfort zone but irrespective of

all the audience perceptions Mila Kunis palyed her role with

perfection.

How Darren recreated the whole swan lake story through one

person was just a must see perspective to watch in black swan.

Infusing both black and white swan in one character was nothing

but an idealistic piece of direction and on top of that Natlie’s

performance did fair and square justice with this movie

screenplay and direction.
